Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

It's Wednesday again, which means another new project share from Heartfelt Creations.  We are still working on the cute little Winking Frogs images this month, but you can get a sneak peek at the new collection for next month called Berry Cafe, over on the blog today. It's not released until the 14th of March but you can see some of it  here: https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/collections.php?c=2016-april-berrycafe

This week I have a card to share using the Fiddle'n Frog image. This card has a double flap on the front, so you pull it open from the side.

You can get the full instructions for this and many more projects over on the blog.

Faded Empire with Ruby Rock-It |Alicia Barry|

This month at Ruby Rock-It, we are featuring the most beautiful new collection called Faded Empire.      I have used a combination of papers and die cuts from the collection along with bling trim and florals. The background paper is very pretty and detailed, so I wanted that to be the focus of the layout rather than adding too much over the top.

Some delicate die cut leaves added some extra foliage without detracting too much from the rest of the design.

The blog trim beaded in beautifully with the background, while adding just the right amount of sparkle.

Toad ally Awesome with Heartfelt Creations

We are still working with Winking Frogs this month from Heartfelt Creations. This week I have created a layout about my little Cam. Being a boy layout, I decided to steer clear of the flowers, and focus on the dragonflies in this collection.

I used texture paste, glitter paste, paint sprays and some stencils to embellish my background, then glittered up some stamped and coloured dragonflies to create the focus of my layout. Do you see the cute little frog alongside the title?

Over on the blog, along with lots of cute samples from he design team, you will find the link to vote on the semi finalists for the new design team. There are only a couple of days left to cast your vote.

Winking Frogs with Heartfelt Creations

Welcome to another brand new project using the sweet new Winking Frogs collection from Heartfelt Creations. I created this belly band card with a cute sentiment stamp, and sweet lily pads.

I'm such a big fan of belly band cards at the moment, I think they are so interesting.

For this one, I stacked my lily pads, so that two are on the band itself, and one is on the card base, so that when the whole thing is together, it forms a cohesive little cluster.

It's a little hard to tell from the photo, but I added some green stickles sparingly to the lily pads, and some parts of the frogs for a little extra shimmer too.

If you happened to miss out on the full release last week of this cute collection, you can catch it here.

Heartfelt Creations New Release Day

It's time for another brand new release from Heartfelt Creations. This month it is all about some cute little green guys in the Winking Frogs collection.  The blues and greens in this are really nice, and even if you are not that into frogs, there is a green water lily stamp and die included that I think will be very popular.

Here's a bit more about the collection.

Don your rubber boots, grab your field glasses and come along as we set out to explore picturesque marshes filled with dazzling water florals, glistening dragonflies, miniature forests of cattails and flourishing crops of toadstools! Walk softly and  be aware of your surroundings at all times as the delightful gems we seek are not always easily seen and blend in with their surroundings perfectly.  Pause and listen carefully as the only clues we have to follow, leading us to our destination are the soft and throaty croaks filling the cool evening air.  Follow the quick flickering of the lightning bugs as dusk begins to fall, being careful to not be seen in their shadows.  Now...grab your field glasses...we've discovered the habitat we've been so curious about! Through your field glasses you see them...you have a front row seat to witness their fun and frolic, entertaining antics and flirtatious ways, and can only hope to eventually be invited in to make their acquaintances and join in the laughter and merriment!  Come along side Heartfelt Creations as we discover and reveal the amusing and spirited "Winking Frog" Collection.  Vintage inspired illustrations will bring back memories of classic childhood story books, quick witted sentiments will add a touch of fun, and the serene and calming color palette of the collection is sure to speak to the heart of everyone who ventures here.  The invitation has been sent to join in on the high jinks, so now it's your turn to dive in...try your hand at creating beautiful water florals, hop from lily pad to lily pad on handsome decorative paper, play hide and seek with glorious die cuts and with the little polliwogs among the weeds and cattails....now aren't you glad you listened and wore your rubber boots!

For my first project, I have created a fun little card, combining both stamped images, and pre-printed die cut images from the paper collection.

Over on the blog, you can see a new video from Emma Lou with close ups of the collection, lots of samples from the design team, and some tips on colouring and shaping the new lillies.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Welcome to another Heartfelt Creations project using my favourite collection Sunrise Lily. This is probably one of my favourite cards I have made too. I love making Belly Bands for cards. You can use the same idea for things like napkin rings, plus I used the same concept for one of my albums late last year.

Not long now until the next collection is released. It's a really cute little line too. You can catch a sneak peek of it over on the blog. I believe the new DT is being finalised at the moment, I can't wait to see who made the team. There are a couple of people I have definitely had my eye on. I hope they made it.

Meanwhile, be sure to check out Lori's project on the blog. It really caught my eye this week.
