Ruby Rock-It BTP wedding | Alicia Barry |

Today I have something extra special to share using the new Bella! "Rustic Charm" wedding range. Fellow designer Beck Beattie and I were asked to create these items to showcase this wonderful new range for Spotlight's Get Creative magazine, which just came out this month. It was also super exciting to see these projects on display at CHA on the Ruby Rock-It stand.

My beautiful friend Nicole. I can't believe the little girl in this photo just started year 12.

Chocolate favour box. These are very similar the ones I made for my own wedding, long, long ago.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday work.

Here is Queensland, we are nervously awaiting the impact of tropical cyclone Marcia, which is currently predicted to hit land as a cat 4 or 5, right at the city where Mum lives, so what better distraction than to check out some beautiful new work from the Heartfelt Creations team for the blog.

This week I have a layout to share. I love the purple tonings of the Butterfly Medley collection. How pretty are those butterflies, and such lovely flowers to play with.

And, as always, check out the rest of the team on the blog. My pick for this week is Penny O'Dell's incredible multi colour flowers. So pretty!

Heartfelt Creation new release - Butterfly Medley

It's time for as new release from Heartfelt Creations, and this is an especially pretty one, with lots of beautiful butterflies...my favourite.

Are you longing for springtime...dreaming of sunny hours spent in a lavish flower garden where butterflies flit lazily from blossom to blossom? Heartfelt Creations invites you to revel in the beauty of springtime with the release of the Butterfly Medley Collection of stamps, dies, and papers.

This uplifting collection is bursting with bountiful botanical roses and a kaleidoscope of fanciful butterflies. Soft shades of pastel peach, lilac, sage, lemon, teal and pink are the perfect counterpoint for the bleak, grey days of mid-winter. Beautifully landscaped backgrounds include pastel plaids, cheery polka-dots, flowing script, classic stripes, elegant flourishes, seed packets, garden themed sentiments and images.

Six hand drawn stamp sets featuring botanical roses and butterflies can be paired with two sets of dies, allowing you to stamp and die cut a host of embellishments with a single pass through your die cutting machine. You'll dream in beauty, plant seeds of encouragement and reap a harvest of creativity when you design with the Butterfly Medley Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

Sadly, here in Australia, we have to wait a little longer for Spring, but I can't see that stopping anyone from wanting to get their hands on this beautiful collection.

Butterfly Medley Paper Collection

This week I have created a layout. I have made a focus of the flowers in the background and exaggerated them with lots of die cut flowers. The blue and yellow combination is a unusual for me, but I'm so pleased with how it turned out. If you want instructions on how to re-create this project, just check the details on the Heartfelt Creations blog.

This week, do yourself a favour and check out the card Robin Tharaldson has made. It is stunning.

Birds and Blooms with Heartfelt Creations.

I am really loving the Birds and Blooms collection this month, It's so fresh and pretty. I have made a card to share this week using the sweet fluffy birdies, and the sweet little flowers. Included in this collection are a really great versatile set of leaf stamps and dies. I know I am going to get so much use out of these, it's an excellent staple for your die collection.

Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations blog. There are so many bright colourful designs this week from the team. Gloria Stengel and Susan Smit have both created really eye catching work this week. While you are there, you can catch a sneak peek of the February collection called Butterfly Medley. It's so ridiculously pretty. You will love it.

For those of you who are local (or willing to travel), I will be teaching a card class using this collection very soon on Brisbane's Northside. I will update with dates once I have them.
