A quick share

Just wanted to share this one very quickly as I promised I would show a few people. The layout si built on perspex and will hang ont he wall. I am making one for each of us. It is very clearly inspired by Carole Jansen. I don't normally copy the style of other people, but you can't work with Carole and not want to give it a try.

Not much else to share at the moment.I have been busy working on a custom album for a lady.I'll share that on my website soon. I will have a stack of DT stuff withing the next week to show.

If you haven't been to Scrapbook City lately, go and drop in. I have spent some time re-arranging the messageboard. There is some new stuff there, and we have some plans for more new stuff coming in the future.

1st trimester down.

Wea re 12 weeks today, which means of course, that we are now into the 2nd trimester. It is quite a relief to get this far. I thought the sickness was over and done with, but the last couple of days have been a bit dodgy. I'm still tired more than anything.

Apparently the baby should be about 5 and a half cm now.

When Michael gets home from St Louis, I'll get him to take a photo of me. I'll start doing that every couple of weeks.

Name three things that scare you... Noises in the night, snakes and heights.
The daggiest thing in your music collection... Well that's all a matter of opinion I guess. I've got some 80's stuff that would make people cringe.
Your three favourite clothing items... Anything that still fits at the moment. It's becoming a very short list.
Your partners most annoying habit... Cracking his knuckles.
What stresses you out... Not knowing what is going on.
If I could change the world I would... encourage more tolerance.
Your favourite household chore… Organising stuff.
If you had fifty bucks to spend at Target which section would you head straight for… clothes
In my next life I would like to come back as… a baby, so I can sleep lots.
Your least favourite celebrity… Judith Lucy.

It's an "I am a Scrapaholic" day today.

First of all, thanks for all the meaages and well wishes on our news. It's nice to have it out in the open.

A reminder, to email me to sign up for my sketch website. I've had a great reaponse already.

Now, Onto I am a Scrapaholic.

It's the first of the month, so that means that the new DT projects are going up in the gallery. We got to work with Fancy Pants this time round. The colours are very bright and colourful, and Lynn challenged us to create some boy layouts with the kit. We were also lucky to have Ang O'Neale as our guest designer for the month.

Exciting News.

Michael and Kyan and I are really excited to be pregnant again!!!!!

We are 10 weeks along. We've known for a while, but wanted to wait til we were at a "safe" time before telling everyone. We are due in Christams Day, but being a c-section, we will probably go in the week before Christmas.

Everything seems to be going well so far. I've been fairly nauseas so far, and tired as anything, but it seems to be easing now.

Kyan doesn't really seem to understand yet. He sings Twinkle Twinkle to the baby, but then also points to the baby in Michael's stomach. He talks about the baby though, so hopefully by the time it arrives, he will understand what's going on. When he heard the heartbeat, he thought it sounded like Thomas the train. Very cute.
